Weekend Rewind: Happy Canada Day!

This long weekend we celebrated Canada Day in Niagara with my family. It's lovely to be able to get out of the city and enjoy a slower pace of life. Below are some scenes from our weekend, which included a little bit of sailing, (well, almost...darn batteries!) a carnival and a ride on the beautiful carousel in Port Dalhousie, a little bit of sewing, and (naturally) a whole lot of baby. Weekend Rewind

Here are some scenes from our weekend. Steve and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary on Saturday at the Session Craft Beer Festival at Wychwood Barns. Our real anniversary is not until Wednesday, but when you have babysitting available, you take it...

I have also, of late, been ob.sessed with the 50mm lens I got Steve for Father's Day. It doesn't have an autofocus feature, which is a bit tricky, but I'm learning how to use it better every day. It takes beautiful action pictures with lots of "movement" in them. Some of the pics below were shot using that lens. Hope you enjoy!
